FROM AUTOMOTIVE TO AGRICULTURE

A new chapter in a career spanning industries

After building his career across automotive retail, property and finance, Tony Denny turned his attention to an industry that had long held a personal interest: agriculture.

The AFR feature explored Tony’s connection to horticulture and farming and how that experience influenced his view of the challenges facing global food production.

For Tony, agriculture represents more than another investment category. It is an industry facing a fundamental long-term challenge - producing more food while making better use of available land, nutrients and agricultural resources.

WHY RLF AGTECH

Backing smarter crop nutrition

The article also explored Tony’s investment in RLF AgTech and his belief in the potential for smarter approaches to crop nutrition.

RLF AgTech develops advanced liquid fertilisers and seed treatments underpinned by its proprietary Plant Proton Delivery Technology. The technology is designed to improve the way plants access and utilise nutrients, supporting crop productivity and healthier soils.

Tony’s investment reflects his broader approach to identifying real-world challenges and backing innovation with the potential to address them at scale.

A LONG-TERM VIEW

Looking to the future of food production

Tony’s move into AgTech reflects a longer-term view of agriculture and the role technology can play in the future.

As global demand for food continues to grow, improving agricultural productivity will require innovation across the way crops are grown, nourished and managed. Tony sees crop nutrition technology as one part of that evolution - combining his personal interest in agriculture with an investment philosophy centred on practical solutions to significant global challenges.
